Caring With Heart was established as a registered Caring Business in early 2020. We saw a gap in the market for a professional, organised, well- run and caring business that is not just an “agency” sending Carers to anonymous Clients.
We wanted to create a business that is guided by experienced management and compassionate, hands-on leadership; a business that engages with both the welfare and needs of the Client, as well as the welfare and needs of the Carer. I believe that both are essential and important components of providing a truly caring, responsive, and professional service.
Needing any kind of care and support in the home, for medical, emotional, or psychological reasons, can be daunting. It renders one vulnerable and dependent and can be intrusive and challenging for any independent person. It therefore requires a level of compassionate and professional engagement with the family, the Client and the Carer, to ensure a level of understanding and trust in establishing the Client/Carer relationship.
This requires a thorough assessment of each Client’s unique situation and needs and a matching (as far as possible) with the appropriate Carer for those needs. Dealing with the expectations of the Client also requires open and honest communication with management, and patience and understanding from the Carer.
Kindness can be a rare commodity, but Caring With Heart greatly values kindness, respect and dignity, both for one another and for our Clients.
Linda is an experienced Manager and Qualified Nurse. Having worked across several sectors and in different leadership positions, she is a capable manager, able to straddle the interface between Client and Carer; an often delicate balancing act, requiring skill, knowledge and understanding of the deep needs of each Client.
Our aim therefore, in providing this home-based Carer service, is for you to maintain your Independence with Dignity.
